Jagadguru Sri Shankara Bhagavad-padacharya, a incarnation of lord Parameshawara himself, was an intellectual genius, known for his profound knowledge and wisdom in Vedas, Vaidic Vicharas and establishing Advaita Siddhanta. He also established four Amnaya Peethas in the four directions of Bharat for the continuous propagation of Vedic Knowledge.
Suvarnabharati
Among these Chaturamnaya Peeths, the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetha has the glory of unbroken Guru heritage (Avichinna Guru Paramapara). The presiding Jadaguru, who is the 36th Peethadipathi, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasannidhanam Sri Sri Bharati Theertha Mahaswamyji, is completing fifty years of sannyas sweekara.
Jagadguru Sannidhanam Sri Vidhu Shekhara Bharati Mahaswami, disciple of Mahasannidhanam, has decided to celebrate the golden jubilee of the fiftieth year of his sanyasa in the name of “Suvarnabharati” throughout the year.
Kalyanavrustisti Maha Abhiyaana
With the orders and grace of both Jagadgurus of Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetha and with the guidance of their Holiness of Yadathore Sri Yogananda Saraswati Mutt, K R Nagar, Sringeri Shrimath’s Srishankara Tattvaprasara Abhiyana and Vedanta Bharati have undertaken a special Mahaabhiyana to spread the significance and benefits of three selected stotras composed by Sri Shankara Bhagavad-padacharya.
The stotras forming part of the Mahaabhiyaana are: Kalyanavrustistava, Shiva Panchakshara Nakshatramala Stotra and Lakshmi Nrusimha Karunarasa Stotra. These three stotras are highly auspicious and capable of giving special results to everyone.
In Kalyanavrustistava each shloka begins with the letters of Srividya Panchadasakshari Mahamantra. This hymn in praise of Jaganmata can shower blessings. Karavalambastotra in praise of Lakshminrusimha swamy transcends family sorrow. In Shiva Sanchakshara Nakshatramala stotra, which contains the Shivapanchakshari mantra in four lines of each sloka, the Acharya preached simply Shivatattva, quoting the Shivapanchakshari mantra 108 times.
There is no doubt that the chanting of this stotras fulfills the desires of the practitioner.
